TEM micrographs of HeLa cells that were incubated for 60 h at 37°C in CoMoCAT DM-SWNTs.
All slices were treated with uranyl acetate to stain membranes and lead citrate to
stain the nuclear body. Colored arrows represent selected cell organelles: nuclei
(red), mitochondria (green), Golgi bodies (yellow), and vacuoles (blue). Micrographs
were normalized to the same grayscale as those in Figure 8.
